Save the Date: April 4th-21st, 2022

What are Clinics?

Clinics are group lessons that are great for those that range from at least water safe (see definition below) to advanced swimmers. While swim team season starts on the 25th, these group lesson times are a GREAT way to get kids back in the water, refresh their skills, and build confidence prior to day one of practice.

Clinics are 3 weeks, and each group provides 2 lessons per week for a total of 6 lessons. Swimmers can sign up for multiple groups, but they will have to pay full price for each group they are in. Below is the schedule:

Monday/Wednesday Groups:

4:45-5:15pm - Beginner Group 1

5:15-5:45pm - Beginner Group 2

5:45-6:15pm - Beginner Group 3

5:30-6:10 - Intermediate Group 1

6:15-6:55pm- Advanced Group 1

Tuesday/Thursday Groups:

4:45-5:15pm - Beginner Group 4

5:15-5:45pm - Beginner Group 5

5:45-6:15pm - Beginner Group 6

5:30-6:10 - Intermediate Group 2

6:15-6:55pm- Advanced Group 2

Group Descriptions

Beginner: These are designed for individuals that are water safe, and either need to learn the competitive strokes or at least know some of freestyle. These are generally built for our 8 and Unders to get them ready for tryouts and the team. They will learn foundational skills needed for the team, including freestyle and backstroke. Each group has a max of 6 participants, and a minimum of 3 participants. Cost is $125/swimmer. Coach Ellis will be leading these groups.

Intermediate: These are designed for individuals that know Freestyle and possible Backstroke. We will work on foundational skills for all four strokes, starts, and begin building their strength/endurance in the water. Each group has a max of 20 participants, with a minimum of eight participants. Cost is $165/swimmer. Coach Alison will be leading these groups.

Advanced: These are designed for individuals that know at least 3 of the 4 strokes. This will be a time devoted to refreshing their skills in their strokes, starts, turns, and develop conditioning for day 1 of practice. Each group has a max of 20 participants, with a minimum of eight participants. Cost is 165.00/swimmer. Coach Alison will be leading these groups.

Important Notes:

  • Water safe - this means your child can swim unassisted. They can safely get to a wall without help, and are okay being underwater. If they are not to this point, please look at signing up for private lessons.
  • If the minimum participant count is not met, we will reach out to you to see if another time slot works for you and your family.
  • Missed lessons: There are no refunds for missed lessons. If weather cancels a lesson, we will schedule to make that up on Friday/Saturday.
    • On the intermediate and advanced groups, there are times if space allows that you can ask to come to another session (email Coach Alison at [email protected]). However, due to safety and pool space, this is not an option for beginner groups. We apologize for any inconvenience.
  • All payments need to be brought to the first lesson and paid either by check payable to Alison Soelter, Venmo to @asoelter, or cash.
