Spring Clinics 2026

2026 Spring Clinics (April 14th-23rd)

What are Clinics?

Clinics are group lessons that are great for swimmers who range from at least water-safe (see definition below) to advanced. While swim team season starts on the 28th of April, these group lesson times are a GREAT way to get kids back in the water, refresh their skills, and build confidence prior to day one of practice.

Clinics are 2 weeks, and each group provides 2 lessons per week for a total of 4 lessons.

Sign Up Forms

  1. Designed for those who will be participating in all 4 lessons. Groups will run on  Tuesday/Thursday only this year.
  2. Beginner clinics These are designed for individuals who are water safe, and either need to learn the competitive strokes or at least know some of freestyle.
These are generally built for our 8-and-unders to get them ready for tryouts and the team. The goal of this group is to learn the foundational skills the team needs, including freestyle and backstroke. Coach will be Coach Barrett. Cost: 140.00/swimmer
  3. Intermediate clinics: These are designed for individuals who know some Freestyle and Backstroke. We will work on foundational skills for all four strokes, starts, and begin building their strength/endurance in the water. Individuals in this session are attending all 4 lessons. Coach will be Coach Alison. Cost: 165.00/swimmer
  4. Advanced Clinics: These are designed for individuals who know at least 3 of the 4 strokes. This will be a time devoted to refreshing their skills in strokes, starts, and turns, and to developing conditioning for day 1 of practice. Individuals in this group will participate in all 4 lessons. Cost: 165.00/swimmer.
  5. Must cancel 24 hours prior to the start of the first lesson to avoid paying in full.

Important notes:

  • Water safe - this means your child can swim unassisted. They can safely get to a wall without help at any depth, and are okay being underwater. They should be able to get across the length of the pool unassisted. This does not need to be a formal stroke, and they can take breaks on the wall/lane line. If they are not at this point, please consider signing up for private lessons.
  • If the minimum participant count is not met, we will reach out to you to see if another time slot works for you and your family.
  • Missed lessons for personal reasons: There are no refunds for missed lessons.
  • Missed lessons due to weather: If the weather prevents us from hosting a session, we will reach out as soon as possible via email to cancel. We will do our best to reschedule the missed lesson.
  • All payments need to be brought to the first lesson and paid either by check payable to Alison Soelter, or paid via Venmo to @asoelter (the one with a picture, last four digits 0010).
